The Nefertiti neck lift is a technique whereby multiple injections of Botulinum Toxin Type A are administered along the lower jawline as well as down the side of the neck along the platysma muscle to improve the definition of the jawline, rebalance the underlying muscles and provide ‘lifting’ in the neck. Once these muscles are relaxed the net effect is an upward pull from facial muscles, creating a younger looking jawline, neck, and face. For a lasting result, the treatment needs to be repeated every 3 to 4 months.

Although most of the patients are incredibly happy with treatment results, the off-label use of botulinum toxin A is not a replacement for surgery and not a “face-lift in a bottle.”

Contraindications

After this procedure any muscle stimulation treatments are contraindicated and remember as far as exercising your facial muscles to obtain a “natural facelift” (we have heard everything!), you might as well save your energy to exercise other muscles because facial muscles create wrinkles, they do not remove them. Furthermore, exercising the lower face and neck muscle will provide you with one result only: extended jowls and saggy neck.
